A new “Final Fantasy XV” spinoff, “Justice Monsters Five”, is available now for mobile gamers

Final Fantasy XV is slated to release for fans worldwide on November 29 this year. But developer Square Enix has released a new standalone spinoff based on the upcoming title for mobile gamers. The new game, Justice Monsters Five, happens to be a pinball style RPG which is now available for free downloading on app stores across Android and iOS platforms. But players may expect to make a bunch of in-game transactions to get a full experience of the game. A version for Windows 10 PC is said to come out soon.

Justice Monsters Five

Within the game, players will “join the Justice Monsters–Bomb Bro, Casanova Coeurl, Fab Flan, and Lamiana–in the struggle to save the Nova Galaxy from the diabolical Lord Vexxos.” Playing Justice Monsters Five involves using simple touch and flick controls to “engage in exhilarating battles, unleash special attacks, and recruit and train new monsters to fight for justice and defeat the forces of evil,” said the game’s description during its press release. It has also been described by officials as being “hugely popular in the Kingdom of Lucis with Crown Prince Noctis and his friends among its fans.”

Touch Arcade reports that Justice Monsters Five plays like a rather substantial game in itself, as it is in actuality a minigame playable in the upcoming Final Fantasy XV. The report adds that the new minigame plays much like Monster Strike in that it involves the player fending off the enemy by firing a bunch of  creatures at them, and at the same time upping their score by overcoming pinball-style obstacles. A defeated enemy creature can be kept for later use in battle, with each such allied enemy displaying their own characteristic combat traits.

Until September 25, players who log in daily will be rewarded in various ways which include getting Golden Orbs, the special in-game currency that can also be bought within the game.

Final Fantasy XV releases on November 29 for PS4 and Xbox One.
