The Cunning Stunts expansion for Rockstar’s popular game GTA Online recently received exciting new updates with new cars, races and a lot more to offer. The game has added five new races along with vehicles like the “Bravado”, “MTL Dune” and “Vapid Contender.” The addition of the Cunning Stunts update to GTA Online had made stunt racing in the game more accessible with the introduction of 27 new racing circuits replete with raised tracks, boost pads, and tubes.
But the new update comes with something that is even more wicked: the addition of the Stunt Race Creator, now live, lets players build and share their own custom stunt tracks. The game’s makers say that the new feature will allow players to “quickly snap and stack objects together, make branching tracks with split checkpoints” as well as use all of the elements found in Rockstar’s own stunt tracks.
As the announcement goes: “Prepare for an unrelenting barrage of new and outlandish custom Races with the launch of the Stunt Race Creator. With this latest addition to the GTA Online Creator tool, anyone can build and share their own custom stunt courses with the entire population of racers, stunters and daredevils throughout Los Santos and Blaine County – including options for Standard, GTA, Rally and Non-Contact Stunt Races”.
The update also includes over 250 new Stunt Props that include bowling pins, flaming rings, huge soccer balls, speed boosts and more, that will add to the difficulty of the tracks.
Alongside these, the game has also introduced a new mode called the Entourage. This mode is all about players having to transport a VIP known as “The Target” across the city, while the team on the opposite end (the Assassins) will try to kill The Target before his team can reach the extraction point. The Target will be well-armed and surrounded by a team of bodyguards, but the bodyguards will only be able to act upon the information provided by The Target himself.
Rockstar has announced double GTA money and RP week from Aug. 2 to 11 for anyone who plays the Entourage mode.
